Biography:Steve is an electrical engineer, a qualified BWSF tournament Ski boat Driver and a MCA RYA Yachtmaster. He joined the team of the Lively Lady Project and skippered her on the northwest Atlantic, Indian Ocean and Mediterranean legs of her circumnavigation. As a trustee of the Around and Around charity, Steve has spent the last few years refitting and sailing the Ohlsen38 "Robertsons Golly.” He also led the team of volunteers involved in the restoration of Sir Alec Rose's historic round the world sailing yacht "Lively Lady" over 2017/18, which in November 2018 was honoured by National Historic Ships UK with the Marsh Volunteer Award for Historic Vessel Conservation 2018. |
